My son said, "I've noticed they don't show as many upset & crying people on this show, as they did on American Idol." One of the many reasons I love this show - they really do, for the most part, keep it positive.
I loved "That's my nerd!" I think if that dancer continues his "well, daaaang" persona too long (like Kent did, with his wide-eyed, "Who, me?"), that could be a turn-off, but I did really enjoy watching him!
Love this show. The judges are open to and respectful to all forms of dance and they give excellent feedback.
I'm ok with Mary's screaming because she's so passionate, compassionate, and knowledgeable about her field.
This year's auditions are the best ever because for the most part they've done away with the sob story backgrounds and the kooks.
The Memphis auditions were amazing, so much talent. Loved BluPrint and the guy who had broken his spine, also ShamSham (?Asian dancer who sadly didn't get past choreography) and the 'lucky pigs' girl and her dad.
I am so glad Mia Michaels is back. She can be counted on for some of the most memorable choreography on the show. The more bizarre the routine is, the more I like it, and I love when one of the dances stirs my emotions.
