Well, I watched the second episode yesterday and I think it got more interesting as the characters began to evolve and reveal themselves. I enjoyed it even more so and hope it has more than just a few episodes to offer.

Yes, it is starting to take off. It isn't that hard to draw comparisions to the american legal system. The internal politicking (where a group seems to be trying to oust Billy) reminded me of The good Wife where some lawyers were plotting to leave the firm and take clients with them.

Very fascinating when Martha reveals the father of her child and he is revealed to be not quite the person we had originally been led to believe.

i don't find her particularly sympathetic or likeable. Of course, I can't take my eyes off Rupert Penry-Jones. He is one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen.

So is that the end? The previews for next week for a different show. Will it come back with a different season in a year? Brit shows on PBS are a mytery to me.

I though thought that subversive girl always spending all her time trying to take down the clerk definetely needed to be FIRED. That's a type of personality that will never stop agitating, stirring the pot, making everyone miserable.
Neym (however you spell it) looks like she let herself down by not telling them she had an unfair advantage and saving her lover. And REALLY - you tell the burgler stalker that his obsession is pregnant? That makes her culpable in blame for her losing the baby IMO.

Oh, I agree, but she didn't realize what she was doing. It all seemed very rush rush. Could have used one more week to make it feel more fully realized.

BS. She had dealt with that guy several times before, saw him in prison. Any anyone in that position knows you don't give personal details to criminals. WTF.

Just started watching it (online, not on PBS), at my aunt's recommendation-so far, so good. I like multiple-episode story arcs.
