We just now started watching Breaking Bad on Netflix, kind of purposely waited until the series ended to start watching. Waiting "week to week" to watch stuff (that is suspenseful) just bothers me.
Sitcoms and stuff I'd rather binge watch, but I can watch those as they come along.
I get to watch all the shows I did as a kid in the 60's and 70's and they hold up to the test of time. There just isnt new stuff like that on TV anymore. Great character acting and storylines that are really good for the dramatic stuff like Gunsmoke and Hawaii 5.0, and real harmless, funny stuff from the Monkees and Lost in Space type shows. One of my faves on retro TV is It Takes a Thief. Robt Wagners playboy Al Mundy character is pretty funny but the scenes of 60's europe are what keeps me watching. Its sort of a window back in time to the culture of that era. For a hopeless 60's romantic, I really like that aspect of it
I like House re-runs as well as L & O SVU. I did not watch any of these in their prime-time slots.

I so want to go back and watch SVU from the beginning. I catch episodes on USA all the time and I dont think I have ever not liked it. It's definitely one of those shows that has been sitting there in prime time for almost 15 years and wonder how you never caught it.

I'm the same way^, I'd rather watch a bunch of episodes in a row instead of having to wait another 7 days for just one more episode.
In past few years, have watched all of The Shield & 30 Rock online, after they ended-both were great series in very different ways.
Watched House for a few seasons on tv each week, then cancelled cable so had no tv reception.
Caught up with it a few years later (watching it online), just after it had ended (broadcast) for good.
Emergency! Someone we know has Season One from 1972. Talk about a blast from the past! LA in the early 70s, emergencies straight out of the 70s (hang glider accidents, etc.) and Randy Mantooth. What's not to love!
Used to love this show back in the day, along with Adam 12
caught a few episodes on youtube, I use to watch it all the time when I was a kid and had forgotten how good this show is.randall and klugman were perfect together.
