Yep, I think Oberyn should have worn a helmet . Great episode last night. Except for the 10 minutes conversation about beetles . Can't wait for next weeks battle for The Wall.
Did anyone notice the change in Sansa? I meant not just her behaviour but she dyed her hair black. Was that in the books? Glad to see that, after years of neglect, her brain finally decided to wake up.
I don't recall that she dyed her hair in the books, she may have as part of pretending to be Pytre's daughter.
To me she played the game and the hand she was dealt very well through book 5 anyway.

Yes, the change was in the books, and much earlier. Also, she wasn't Littlefinger's niece but his illegitimate daughter. She also doesn't identify herself to the Lords of the Vale as Sansa Stark. Lyssa's murder was blamed on a minstrel who had remained at the Aerie.
As for spoilers, I will only say that there are surprises wrapped in surprises coming.
Makes sense. I just hope she won't evolve into some sort of play thing for Little Finger, that would be icky to say the least. But then, it's GOT, where ickiness rules.
She's spent the last few years of her life around Cersei and now Littlefinger. I wonder if she has been studying them and is going to evolve into a master manipulator. Maybe this story line ends with her playing Littlefinger, rather than the other way around.

Yes, that scene had me scratching my head, since it was nothing like the books. In them, she posed as Allayne for quite some time and no one knew who she really was.

bingo. at least could evolve to be. She was always watching, listening, and learning.
There are always surprises within surprises and North Beach said. And remember she is now the heir to the north kingdom. assuming that all think that littlest Stark boy is dead
I don't guess they had any fighting rules at Kings Landing......
