1. What are the intentions of the the white walker and his army of the dead

2. Jon either join or escape the people that captured him, but take the girl with him

3. A little more exploration into Bran and the dreams he has. I think there's more to this for some reason

4. At least 1 Lannister head on a pike, as long as it's not Tyrion or Tywin

5. Just how much Arya has learned from her "dance teacher". She has yet to show if she has any skill with a sword

If the series follows the books very closely, you will find yourself very correct in this assumption.

I won't give any specific spoilers, but I will say this (although the series may diverge even further from the books)--IF the series follows the books closely, several characters you would not expect to die or be killed will die and be killed.

And more happens with Bran and Arya than I can even remember or begin to convey. Both characters grow and change a great deal and go through all kinds of...adventures.

I have to say, I really hope the series continues. I'm not much for fantasy/sword and sorcery books or films, but GoT is one of my favorite things that's ever been broadcast.

If the series goes on and catches up with the action and developments in the fifth book of the series, we will see some television unlike anything that has ever been produced before. Mark my words.

Winter is coming...

A Feast For Crows was slow going. I have to re-read it to pick up stuff I missed. The events have also run together in my mind.

Valar dohaeris.

They can't change it too much as far as what happens to the main characters except maybe around the edges. Too many plot lines would be impacted.

Yes, that is what I am most interested in seeing is how closely they will follow the books. I've read all of them and there are so many storylines, characters, etc...It will be interesting to see how they are going to fit everything in a limited time TV series.

IIRC, they did say that the show would eventually veer off from the books. To what degree? I can't say for sure but as a lover of the books, the changes that they've already made from the book has me already upset ... I will watch with much trepidation.

That said, I cannot wait for the next book!

They need to tone down the gratuitous sex. I'm no prude, but Season 2 went even beyond soft porn into outright ridiculousness. Quite a few scenes weren't sexy. They were just silly.
