How can the Offspring keep Yasumoto living longer?
What does the Offspring have to do with the yellow goop?
Where has Dr. Sam Barton disappeared to?
Is Katie pregnant with another Offspring, or is she a full-grown Offspring from the earlier Katie?
Sparks should be killed off.
Hope Yasumoto gets older and older so we can watch him turn to dust
Katie HAS to be dead. In the video from the ship she obviously planned to not survive, as she knew they'd just use her if she survived. Then they use Fake Katie anyway. And what the alien offspring told Molly makes no sense. The aliens have all kinds of mysterious powers, as the offspring has, too. And yet, he tells Molly, who is only a human with fairly limited abilities, that only SHE can stop the aliens! How? She is, at least, trying to resist the hallucinations (or whatever) that the offspring keeps using on her. But Molly has no clue how to defeat the aliens. The offspring has to be destroyed, along with the other aliens. But what are they going to do, wave a magic wand, voila?
Too many things not answered. I still don't understand how the offspring was supposed to keep Yasumoto alive and what about the guy who came back with Molly and "Katie"????
* They need to send a crew up to destroy the Seraphim. So let's just send a single person, with no backup in case something happens to her.
* They see the video talking about the destruction of Yakamoto Tower. They're smart enough to put 2+2 together, and figure out Ethan has a bomb hidden inside. So what do they do? Take him to Yakamoto Tower to examine him. D'oh!
* They send her up with one of the new super-suits. No spare so the other astronaut (Sean?) can put one on when they find him? And sadly the gloves were held on with gum & spit.
* Speaking of suits, when Molly sees fake Katie in the hold, why doesn't she turn on the alien-vision and see what she really looks like?
* No weapon? She goes up in space to face off with aliens, and no weapons? Let's see if we can find some knock-out juice for Sean.
* Ethan finally catches on his half-bro is a baddie. He races thru the building to stay ahead of him, to save his mom. But when they face off at the end, and Ethan knows he going to explode ("she's gonna blow, captain"), he tells him to RUN. Why why why? Why not embrace him, and go together?
And this is the one that bugged me the most. She's been infected, Sean is infected, but she wants to come home, because... well, nine billion people aren't as important as her survival. And then "five days later", they don't even bring it up. No mention of her infection?
This was worse than stupid. This was insulting to anyone with half a brain.

Yeah this bugged me. A case of extreme stupidity on Dad's part.

Because Ethan promised his Mom he wouldn't hurt the Offspring again.

Bugged me too. The only thing I could think of was Molly kept saying (while looking for Sean) "I fought it off, you can too."
Overall though, my kudos to the writers for not ending it before the explosion. The series could end here or go on to another season or even a 2 hour movie of the week to finalize the few questions remaining.
Still can't find anything about it being renewed.
