Could not really get into Sherlock. Just a little too weird for me. However I am liking Investigator Morse in the Endeavour series. I wonder if Season One is available for streaming?
I just did a Roku search and only Season Two seems to be available.
I will try to watch Endeavor because I liked the Inspector Morse series. I didn't watch Endeavor when it premiered last year because I thought I couldn't get into the show because Inspector Morse is supposedly in his 20's and it's the 1960s, I think. I will forever remember John Thaw as Inspector Morse and I loved that series so much. It was so sad that they killed off Inspector Morse on screen, and I never could understand why they did that. It shocked me seeing him on the slab with his eyes closed like that, what a terrible ending to a great show, then just two years later John Thaw died. I think he also died the same way his character did, of a heart attack.
I like Endeavour more than the Inspector Morse series. I caught onto Morse very late, and haven't really taken with his personality. Love the Inspector Lewis series, though, so I watch the Morse series for the younger Lewis.
Watching young Morse in Endeavor, though, helps a little to explain why the older Morse is the way he is. Very interesting!
Question about his amazing car -- the first series showed how he got it, but now in season 2, he's not driving it. What happened to it?
If you didn't see last Sunday's episode, you missed one of the best. A blend of mystery and ghost story and really quite scary in parts.
PBS is airing several new episodes this summer on Sunday nights.

john thaw died of cancer- i think esophageal- in 2000 or 2001.
I have watched it sporadically and it is growing on me for sure. I will probably at some point try to figure which episodes I may have missed and catch them all.
S1 of Bletchley Circle is still my favorite brit mystery season of all time. (S2 was not as good but i still love those women!)
