I am curious and will probably watch it but man, they beat that book to death in high school English class and I still bear the scars.

We just finished Blonde, too. Initially I was very skeptical as to whether Ana de Armas could pull it off. I thought she was miscast. But as the story evolved, it was as if she grew into being Norma Jean (who could never quite grow into being Marilyn). There are a few scenes from Some Like It Hot that will surprise you. Look closely, Is it Norma, or Ana? Very well done. But they did skip important parts of Marilyn's story, and some of what they added was quite creative; it kind of left you with a sense of frustration in addition to the sadness. But I'm glad I saw it.

It was fine but not as well developed as the original from the 1930s, only gorier. The 1979 made for TV movie with Richard Thomas (of Waltons fame) and Ernest Borgnine was also better IMO.

Reminded me more of 'tales from the crypt' without the humor. Much prefer twilight zone, won't be watching more.

Just watched the first episode of "Inside Man" with Stanley Tucci. It's unique, interesting, and darkly humorous. Best thing we've seen in a while.

“Deadwind” a Finnish detective series—started new S3 and realized I had not finished S2 for some reason so had to go back to that
Excellent series—very plot driven and you have to try to add up the clues as the detectives get them—
Lot of shooting at night but lighting is excellent so you don’t miss seeing anything
Lead detective is female with hair as unruly as she is—
Have to use subtitles but worth it

I watched it yesterday, excellent. Good anti war movie. It took me awhile to figure out what they were doing with all the clothes and boots from the dead soldiers. Then I realized when the soldier said he got the wrong uniform.
