Just because of your posts here I'm going to see if I can find this to view. I looked over the IMDB page and the promo photos. One caught my eyes... or should I say, her legs caught me eye. It was Tricia Helfer from BattleStar Gallictica. Denniger in Ascension, the tall sexy blonde sci-fi kind of gal. Number Six in BSG.
I'm certainly wondering where they're going with this.
Things I'm wondering:
Where are the senior citizens on the Ascension - we haven't seen anyone over upper 50's/60ish?
Does Christa have parents, and if so, where are they?
Does Emily Vanderhaus serve any purpose in the story, other than what seems a not very strong affair with Aaron? Maybe a future blow-up between her hubby and Aaron?
There are supposedly strong lines of demarcation between the "lower decks" staff and the ?upper decks (the have's) classes, at least in terms of where they live and work. But James Toback, who is definitely lower-decks, seems to hang out at the pool/beach area a lot with upper decks girls and no one seems concerned. Is the water a caste-free zone?
Anyway, I am enjoying the mysteries, and hope that the show has a future beyond Wednesday night.

There are NO senior citizens on board ship. In the first episode it was stated that for every birth, there must be a death. They get "spaced" I assume. (Which involves landing on an inflated mattress.) Then they get euthanized?? That way there is no over population like here on Earth.
Haven't watched eppie 2 yet. Hope it does not disappoint.

I took that to mean that a new birth had to wait until someone died, not arbitrary killing-off of seniors at age 65 or whatever.
I didn't think that episode 2 disappointed. Vionndra and the Stewardesses get sleazier, Christa gets angrier, and other stuff goes on too. I'll be watching tonight and hoping there will be more.
