So who is the wanderer? Thoughts? Why did he want Siggy dead?
I thought the wanderer was Loki (a god). I remember Athelstan telling the people in England about the different gods at the dinner table a few espisodes ago, and he mentioned that Loki was a wanderer.
For those who may have missed some or all of the first five episodes of Season Three, the History Channel will be rerunning them back to back this Saturday between 8 am (Pacific Time) and 2 pm.
Bingewatched entire series over the past week or two, just finished final episode (end of season 3).
Now it's really built into intriguing bunch of stories & it's going to be hard waiting until next year for more.
One thing I don't quite get (from episode 10 of s3):
Spoiler
Ragnar seemed genuinely near death's door, yet he sprang out of the coffin as if he were just fine (well, for long enough to allow the other vikings in).
It seemed like he might've died as he collapsed on Bjorn after that, but then we see him in the boat giving Floki the "I know what you did" business-so, not (yet) dead.
I understand waiting for s4 to resolve Ragnar's fate in the show, but I didn't think he was faking being injured.
How did Ragnar manage to seem dead & then revive adequately to accomplish taking the princess as temporary hostage ?
Did he take some of those trippy mushrooms (like the ones Floki gave Rollo when he was bedridden,
and to make Torstein appear dead-to fool King Horik into thinking Floki was on his side-in s2) or something ?
Am a little bewildered by Ragnar's seemingly startling recovery (however brief).
The only two things I can think of as to why he has soooo much energy and yet is near death --
good acting and the fact that Vikings were super human in regards to pain management...
We have been traveling and not watching lot of television
does anyone know start date for new season???
Another reminder....tomorrow night (Thurs) Season Four begins at 10pm. The History Channel is running a marathon of Season Three leading up to the premier.
