I don't understand why Steve and John are willing to vote out Meg. Austin and the twins are an unbreakable final 3, Vanessa would most likely come in 4th.
If Steve and John had any sense and they're definitely the 2 smartest houseguest left, they would realize that it's best for them to oust Julia.
Then you have Vanessa, who can't play for the first HOH, prime to pick off during the DE.
This one vote could actually flip the house, leaving Liz and Austin on one side against Meg, James, John and Steve on the other and Vanessa is just up for grabs.
For people who literally have nothing to do all day and night but think about game scenarios they aren't that bright.
Of course none of this will happen because Big Brother always disappoints on potential "big moves" for the last few seasons. Meg will go tonight with either Steve, John or James and we'll be back to the Austins Angels.
I agree. The problem is, in this season and many of the others, the players will decide early on whom to vote out. Once a person makes such a decision, and believes that the others agree, it is very difficult to actually get people to change their vote.
Sure, in the diary room the producer will ask them "But wouldn't it be better to evict Julia?", and the person (John, Steve, etc) will give an answer saying "Probably", with an explanation. We only see the explanation, presented like the hamster just thought it up.
I call it 'momentum'. Once the 'momentum' starts (i.e., they agree concerning whom to vote out), it is very difficult to turn the people aside.
If you see a bunch of diary room fodder by John and Steve about how wise it would be to vote out Julia, say goodbye to Meg.
I will note: this CBS practice of not allowing us to hear the producers question the house guests in the diary room is silly. I like to watch BB Canada, UK and Australia (youtube) and you get to hear the full, two-sided conversation. I find "Big Brothers" questions and comments to be very entertaining at times.
Ugh, I hate everyone who is left. Johnny Mac is an idiot for going with Vanessa and thinking he'll get to final 2 with her. Sheeple Steve also mentioned final 2 to her and she just went along with it. Both of them are dumber than a box of rocks if they think they would win the game if they made it that far, which they won't.
Even I, who hate Vanessa & Austwins, think that the Austin's A-holes alliance has played better/harder than those dumb boys. I am so pi$$ed...I knew John and Steve wouldn't have the nuts to make a big move and flip the house. Screw 'em all, I don't care who wins now.

Reason: spelling
When the twin won veto, she should have taken James off. The other twin could have then back doored Vanessa.
that would have been good for the twins.
I can't stand the thought of any of them winning now and having to see them gloat.
