I have "cut the cord" and I don't even own a television. But when I visit anyone... like my parents... I try to switch the television channel to something like Lifetime... "I Am Jazz" is probably the latest TV show that I have seen. Pretty riveting for a reality show. Brave girl, and a brave family, to put themselves out in public like that, considering what they have to face from ignorant members of the public... I was shocked to see that they receive harassing phone calls, for one thing. Brave folks there.
I rarely see television programs, though. If something gets a lot of news coverage, I might find a clip online and watch it. If there's enough buzz around a television show, it will make me curious to find it online... which means it will probably end up on Netflix anyway.
Another television series that I've seen recently: Downton Abbey. The series wrapped up before I was curious enough to finally watch a couple of episodes, though. It's good, but doesn't really interest me a whole lot... the two episodes I've seen were enough to give me an idea what it's about. It's very good quality in terms of acting, sets, costumes, etc... but it just isn't my "thing," I guess. Maybe I need to watch a few more episodes to get hooked.
Finished the series finale of Justified last night. I actually went into a minor depression that it was over. Still feeling a little down this morning.
Babylon 5, s3e2-
never watched the series back in the day, so going through it all now.
