The quirky sci-fi comedy drama had been released in the UK on Sky 1 last month. NBC has it scheduled to air this fall but hasn't set a date yet. It's about what happens in the lives of a few various people when they realize a comet is supposed to hit and destroy the earth in the next 31 days.
There are some well known actors in it, Rob Lowe, Megan Mullally, Jenna Fischer along with British actors that are probably well known there, and, some American actors that you may recognize such as Paterson Joseph (Holy Wayne from The Leftovers). I watched the first episode, it started out a tad slow but by the end I was hooked and felt that the hour had passed by much too quickly.
They didn't show Megan Mullally at first, she had a few lines while her character was off camera and I knew her voice, when her character was finally on camera she was completely unrecognizable to me. (she's also in the following clip, if you can spot which one she is, lol)
I'm looking forward to it. I couldn't figure out which actress plays the blond character with buck teeth until I read that the character is played by Megan Mullally. She's a really good actress; I'd watch her or her husband Nick in anything.
I loved it. It's set up to record next now in case I forget. Its being so quirky and almost satire against the end of it all works sooo well. I'm looking forward to this one alot. The humor reminds me of Galivant, which is also set up to record, without the song.

When I first watched it I was floored at how Megan looked. She looked so different that if it weren't for her distinctive voice I wouldn't have known it was her. She is great in this show!

It's not excessively quirky, and I was surprised with the full plotting, since most of the previews here in the US have focused on Mullally and Fischer. I'll look forward to this one each week!
Watched it last night. I guess it's funny in England. Thought it was just horrible, won't be watching again.
