I was surprised as well, that was an early pickup. But it's having excellent ratings, Damian Lewis is back on Showtime, etc. Although I liked the pilot, I wasn't sure if this show had legs...but it has proved a lot of the naysayers in these last 3 episodes. I'm all in and am loving it.

'Billions' For The 99%, Episode 4: What It Means To Face A Short Squeeze

Another great read for those who got lost in all the technical talk.

Some actors I recognize from other shows include the secret service guy from House of Cards, Dale from Walking Dead, and McManus from Oz.

This was like the grand guest stars episode. Loved seeing Noah Emmerich, he played the guy that piggybacked on Axe's trade. This show films in NYC, and if you watch enough NYC filmed shows, you'll see the same actors as many of them only take work in NYC. Such as Noah.

Isn't he the cop on the show The Americans?

Funny, several actors from Oz are on Law and Order too.

Last night was a better show. Story is moving along. The only part that really seems shoehorned in is the S&M club that Chuck Rhoades visited. I'm a big fan of gratuitous T&A, but even this scene seems like it serves no purpose. We get that he's a sub into femdom, but there are other ways to get that across. Plus the USAGNY seems like a huge risk.

Aside from that, solid show last night. Axe sure fooled me!
