As for the girls, the way it was edited, LuAnn's daughter came off as gorgeous and truly fashionable, and she was shown thanking her Mom, and hugging her - and she seemed grateful and excited. While Ramona's daughter got the ungrateful spoiled girl edit, and she looked less NYC glamour, and more pageant girl with that dress. Who knows what the girls are like in real life, but Bravo's editing certainly made a statement about them both!
I got more frustration with an overbearing mother than ungrateful, or spoiled from Avery. Every girl wants her sweet sixteen to be her special day, not her mother's. Ramona inviting 20 people, and hanging out and acting like it was her party was inappropriate IMO. Another thing is from what I understand Avery is at home full time, whereas Victoria doesn't see her mom as much, I don't know if she is still in boarding school, but I'm sure she spends time with her dad, so would appreciate her mom being there more. I didn't really notice the clothes, but Victoria is more worldly, she probably spends a lot of time in Europe. Avery is more of a typical American teenager.

ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss sss

Here that?

ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss ssssssssss

That's the sound of the air coming out of this show. Wow, is it boring now. I guess the highlight for me was Bawbee coming at Simon like some kind of goomba, making threats with his slicked back hair, sunglasses and big rings on his fingers like he was going to kiss him and say "Simon, you broke my heart" and have him sent in a boat down the Hudson river ... give me a break.

I thought Victoria's party was more fun. Yea, it was a nightclub, so what Duhmona ... PocaCOUNTESSDAMMIT still made it about her and her friends. Duhmona made it about her and her GD wine. Did you see the fit she threw when it wasn't there???? Uh, where's moy woyn? Oh, and some vodka too ... ugh ... I'm glad that Avery acted like a spoiled brat.

Jill's party was DUMBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!!!!! I loved how KellyHIEEEEE hijacked the party by telling them she was shilling for pens and that's why she was late.

Ramona's facial twitches and mild freak out over the wine....everyone's faces looked like they were waiting for her head to spin....like, oh chit...it's coming....look out....we've seen this before....just stand still....it will pass.

It sure was nice to see "Sad Ross" play the piano at Jill's party.

Um, did it really look like there were 120 people at Victoria's party?
Didn't to me.

Also, I really hate it when the women do the 'competing with their kids' thing. Not mom vs kid. But when the moms go, "Oh, yeah? Well, my kid has 2000 friends AND went to the moon on the power of her own farts!"

Ramona could have had her party, but she should have stayed in a different part of the building. Seriously uncool.

Thing is...supposedly before the show, they were good friends for YEARS. So I bet it's hard to just let go.

I hate that too, too many parents, moms especially, but sometimes fathers with sons see their children as a reflection of them, kids are separate people, there is a big difference between supporting your children, and wanting them to succeed or forcing your children to do things that make you look good. Too many parents live through their children when they should be out pursuing their own lives, and allowing their kids to be separate people.

LuAnn's attempt at impersonating Josephine Baker came off looking (and sounding) more like a mockery of her rather than a tribute...and in her son's establishment no less.

Ramona's impersonation of Jill was even tackier.

I just have to say that I cannot stand Cindy's brother! What is with him and those horrible "chicklet" teeth??? He looks ridiculous and should go back to the dentist and get a refund. Those are the cheapest and cheesiest looking caps I've ever seen in my life!

Also, why are those two constantly together?? He escorted her to Jill's b'day party. Why is that? Can't she get a boyfriend? Can't HE get a boyfriend? There is something very strange about both of them.

They also look alike. There was a quick shot of him on this episode (I think it was this episode) and he can pass for Cindy --- that same downturned head, scrunched up face with mouth agape look that Cindy always gives. All you needed to do was to pop a long black wig on his head.

I don't think she'll get renewed for another season. She brings nothing to the show (at least not yet)

I thought they had been friends for years too. The thing is I happened to catch the very first episode of the of RHONYC (some off the wall station is showing it locally late night)and it shows Jill saying straight out of the gate that Ramona and her hubby were social acquaintances they saw ever so often. But that she really didn't know Ramona that well.
Another scene has Ramona saying she barely knows Jill.

Apparently I had forgotten those exchanges ever happened because I sat there watching and thinking," HUH???"
