apparently there was more tweeting happening so she didn't just tweet this one thing. she went crazy and couldn't stop her fingers i guess.

i'm bummed because i like the show and i also feel bad for all of the other actors who had nothing to do with these stupid tweets.

I've carped about Roseanne AND those other shows because I want to be entertained, not preached to by people on ANY side of the political spectrum. While others only complain when Hollyweird appears to stray from the Democrat plantation.

Thanks for the laugh.
I'm fine with politics being in entertainment. I know how to watch or not watch.

I found it funny that Americans didn't see the Connors as deadbeats.

BOO!!!
Maybe another Network will pick it up.
Everyone knows that comedians are loose cannons. That comes with the territory.
Well, thanks for the laughs.

So sad for the cast members who hadn't been working for years like Lecy and Michael.

Rosanne probably OWNS the show and all the rights to the characters. She is laughing all the way to the bank. She did not need the money.

I think you're wrong. She wasn't even granted a "created by" credit until this season bc of Gilbert.

No one is cut off from their livelihoods. Actors can get other roles. John Goodman is a great actor.

ABC is a business and it was a smart business move.

I think that was Evelyn Beatrice Hall referencing (paraphrasing) Voltaire who may or may not have said "I detest what you write, but I would give my life to make it possible for you to continue to write."

In any case the spirit of the quote would suggest paying consequences for your words should be off the table.

But its just an opinion and in modern society we do pay consequences for what we say, just not from the Government generally.

I hear ya. This can't really be considered an unexpected turn of events though. Roseanne and her craziness could make them or break them.
