I am a fan of crime drama and really like Chicago PD. I just read that Sophia Bush is leaving the series and it seemed kind of evident after the season 4 finale and her character accepting the job with the FBI. Also, the writing was on the wall with Tracy Spiradakos coming on board.
While I liked the Erin Lindsey character, for some reason her leaving does not particularly bother me. I was getting tired of the Lindsey-Halstead thing, and hopefully this puts an end to the Bunny character as well, whom I found to be extremely annoying.
So the question is who comes on board and what changes? They could keep Upton (Spiradakos) and Burgess should be back, or maybe Dawson (Jon Seda) comes back, or maybe it's someone new. Whatever way it goes, I don't think it will affect the series too much. Other Dick Wolf shows like Law & Order and SVU went through a ton of changes and have lasted forever.

My thoughts exactly. Its a bit odd for me not to feel a little more about the loss of a main character.
I hope they keep Tracy Spiradakos around. I liked her on Revolution and we all know there has to be a physically attractive female on the squad. It seems a police unit can't function without one.
