I would say first she will get back together with her ex and then it won't work out and she will end up with Miles.
No no no. Have you never seen these things before?
First they have to look googly eyed at each other for most of a season while denying their true feelings (but they keep having cute near miss moments).
Then comes the cliffhanger where one has to realize he/she is actually in love, but the other ends up in a relationship or engaged before our lover boy/girl can confess, so now we have season 2 of forlorn looks.
The Heartbroken One has to spend season 2 pining and complaining to their best friend. Then just after the Heartbroken One finally starts dating someone new in an effort to get over it, the Oblivious One breaks up with their plot device... excuse me, love interest lol... because they realize they too are in love with our hero/heroine. Of course this happens at the end of the season...
So for season 3 the roles have reversed. The (formerly) Heartbroken One is happy in a relationship and The (formerly) Oblivious One is pining. But alas, before that season closes the plot device will get dumped (or outed as a bad person, whatever) and our couple will get together for a few blissful episodes before they break up in the season 3 cliffhanger.
Mid season 4 they get back together. Then they get married and the audience loses interest. If they can eek out a few more seasons the couple will have a baby in an effort to goose ratings. It won’t work. It never does.
This is a topic for another thread, but why get angry when other people find God? That's their choice. It doesn't have to be yours.
I am vehemently against smoking. However, I don't get angry when I see a smoker on TV.
I don't get angry about what people believe; they can worship Harry Potter or the Goat Lord for all I care. What makes me angry is these stupid shows (and there have been a few) that depict the "no atheists in foxholes" myth and that once things get bad, they'll "come back to Jesus"! Well, there are plenty of atheists in foxholes and always have been.

Okay. But that's not what this show is. You're projecting. Watch or don't watch. Just chill and don't peoject.
As an atheist, this show interested me, but after watching the pilot I dropped it. I recently gave it a second try. It's gained some traction with me...as long as the main character doesn't convert.
