I would love some REAL comedies...shows that make you LAUGH and not snicker out of embarassment. And I would love some old fashion MYSTERIES...not yucky shows that tell me more about the human dead body than I ever want to know but shows that are built around the "who dunit" style, such as Perry Mason or Murder She Wrote.

I think any show with a laugh track is close to death...
I would like to see a Dean Martin type variety show... I love the Roasts too.
I love these filthy roasts of today, does anyone know if the Dean Martin roasts were as raunchy? Rosie is no Deano, but her new variety show was cancelled after 1 show if that's an indication of future variety shows. Wonder who would be a good host....
I loved MacGuyver, but can't imagine anything like that being popular again...
Now that TRL is cancelled, could we have a show that plays the WHOLE video? lol

My show would be a sci-fi/horror type show and it would have to be on HBO or Showtime since it's R-rated. It would be a combination of Bladerunner/Dexter/Firefly - a serial killer that slices and dices his way around the universe and the hot Nathan Fillion type cop that chases after him.

I would put an actual gardening show on HGTV - they only have one stinkin garden show - gardening by the yard, that they keep switching time slots on... between that the the bi-weekly victory garden on our pbs channel... there are NO good gardening shows. Only flip/sell your house shows on hgtv - they really need to re-name that channel.

Yeah - I have been watching a lot of older shows - they are re-running MTM and bob newhart (1st show) here now. LOVE bob and emily.

My TV show would have two parts.
The first 30 minutes I would spend mooning the audience, and the second 30 minutes I would spend giving them the finger.
I don’t expect that it would catch on though because judging by what makes a hit show, the content of my show would be much too intellectual.

It would either be a comedy because I love to laugh, or a reality show because I love to watch those.

It would be a show about people leaving their 9-5 rat race life to
be homesteaders who learn to live off their land in the country.
