'America's Next Top Model' Goes Transgender - MSN TV News

Saw this story this morning. I am glad that there is broadening acceptance for people who live alternative lifestyles.

Your thoughts?

As long as she's as good as those who didn't make it on the show then I think it's great. I'd hate to see that it's a marketing ploy to get ratings you know?

I do love me some ANTM, so I'll be watching for sure!

Yeah, I hope that's not the reason that they are putting her on the show. It will be interesting to see how "she" interacts with the other girls this season.

I just hope she/he? doesn't try to act over the top. I HATE it when trans gender/sexual/etc act like they THINK females act vs how we really do. It's so annoying.

I also never know what to call them. Inside, they're still men (or women) but outside they're the opposite. I usually just go w/ Shem. Sounds better and (to me) more polite than shemales.

You're hilarious, Nicole! Jade was something else...I kinda thought Jaslene and Diane (was she on the same season as Jaslene?) were both transsexuals at one point, too.

None of the girls that compete are really the "next" Gemma Ward. The only person that I would say that has a higher demand than the rest is Melrose.

I really don't care, as long as:

1. She/he is a decent person
2. They are not keeping him/her till the very end just for the ratings, when it's obvious he/she does not belong there.

Can't wait for the new season to start.
