I hope it's true - it allows for a future storyline somewhere along the way. Fingers crossed!

I'm surprised he has been on this season because it was rumored last season was his last. Maybe it's this season...

I too thought that Ducky was going to leave last season. Although if yesterday was his last episode, it is strange that he isn't saying goodbye to the whole team rather just Gibbs.

Also I thought it was strange that nobody asked DiNozzo Senior how his son Tony is doing.

I wonder if fans had anything to do with David not leaving for good? I have to admit McCallum look a lot better than I have seen him in a while. Maybe he was sick? I don't follow the rags, so IDK. He sure looked just "ducky" last night though. I have had a crush on him since I was about 10 yrs old.

If memory serves me shouldn't DiNozzo senior have been asking the team how Tony was doing?
I thought their relationship was slightly "strained" or at least they didn't seem overly excited about one another.

I think David McCallum is 85 years old so maybe he wants to slow down a bit and work less?

No, their relationship improved a lot during a Christmas episode ... don't remember what season, but it was the episode there Tony was given the family signet ring.

Then when Tali came into the picture, Senior spent a lot more time with them.
