first, he's 44. Second, you'd think he'd know by now not to kiss hookers. In this case I'd say he was justified in punching the hooker. He kissed her and she bit down on his tongue and wouldn't let go until he started hitting her. When she let go he stopped hitting her. The mugshots show he got the worst of the deal and she doesn't even look like she was punched. Either she's tougher than she looks or he's a wimp.
