I didn't like the idea of the show - from the previews it looked like a not-so-smart model comes back as a fat lawyer (is she smart now?) but my girlfriend watched it and she said it was good. I guess I'll try to watch it next week - at least it's not a reality show

Yeah I know what you're saying and kinda agree with you. I wasn't sure either but watched it and realized its sole focus wasn't her brains or her weight. The model was very sweet, lovable and only into her appearance. As the lawyer she's encountering a completely different world of people and it looks like she will be experiencing depth to her personality.

There are a few real tear-jerker moments and some extremely funny ones too! The main tear-jerker is of course within the last few minutes of the episode. I'd say just give it a chance and watch it. Not sure if you can watch Lifetime online like other networks. Anyway, I just hope the show stays around. The last two new shows I loved got cancelled! And the new season of Psych hasn't started yet. And of course who wants to pick up a book and read! LOL

I saw this on wednesday night. I guess it was an encore showing from the weekend. I really like it. I think it has potential. The only thing I didn't like was when she threw the cat statue through the window. She should have thrown a chair instead.

I enjoyed the first episode as well, but it bothered me when they showed all the "special guest" appearances that will show up throughout the season. I hate when shows bring on a parade of special guest stars. Will and Grace was ruined by all those special guest stars.

I just watched the show and really loved it. While I'm not crazy about all the guest stars, I hope they're all judges and we only see them for a few minutes at a time. And who thought to make Paula Abdul a judge? I don't think she'll be convincing, but we'll see. I haven't really seen her on anything but AI.

It will be funny to see Paula Abdul as a judge. If she is anything like she is on American Idol, it should be a hoot. Or maybe she will be normal since she won't have Simon slipping stuff into her drinks.
