Chris McDonald? He went to my sister's private, ritzy college...Hobart and William Smith in Geneva, NY! On Seneca Lake.
Grew up 10 miles from me...in Romulus! Ha.
Gosh, he's been everywhere!
Oh, I post with someone from there...she says his family is still there...told me a bit about them.
Nice country the Finger Lakes region....wine country.
Just finished watching seasons 4 and 5............yep......was a little under the weather, so what a great time to just be lazy and watch one of my favorite shows; (any old excuse,Ha!) The loss of Will was so sad, I was thinking, why, why??
He played Tommy Jefferson the ambulance chasing lawyer in " Harrys Law " that was on tv a few years ago . I don't know why they thought they had to change Harrys Law it might be still on today had they not fooled with it and made it stupid .
TOMMY JEFFERSON...!
I've been racking my feeble brain trying to remember. Thank you, now I can sleep again... I liked that show, it left too soon...
Thank you for this concise explanation. I didn't think she was corrupt herself (hence my saying "or not" in my first post), but I knew it was a scandal that resulted in her trying to get hired on at bond court. Again, thank you very much.
Each year, I have found The Good Wife harder to watch than it was the year before. What with the awfulness of last season, the near non-use of Matthew Goode, and the show's conflict with football, I hardly watched it, so I missed a lot of story points that would have explained the corruption.
I was finding it harder to watch too, but for a different reason. The show was all over the place with the
political spin. This diversion ruined the show in my opinion. This season seems to be back on track. I like Alicia as a lawyer and I liked the clever plot twists involving all the double crosses and lawyer tactics. I think I'm hooked again if this is the direction the writers are going. It sure beats a lot of other shows on TV and my wife and I can both watch it, that's a bonus
The one thing I'm concerned about is that burgeoning misunderstanding of Alicia's "helping" of Howard. Diane is too experienced to so readily draw the wrong conclusion about Alicia's intent.
I love this show, always have, always will. That said, I hope there are no more political campaigns for Alicia. That was boring. The one thing last season that made zero sense to me and was glaringly apparent how off-character it was, was the supposed leak of Alicia & Will's past romantic emails. I mean c'mon. Two experienced, savvy, and clever attorneys using office email to write sexually explicit or romantic emails? No Way. The emails sounded like bad fanfic to boot. I wanted to slap the writer(s) who came up with that angle. Neither of those characters would ever put such things in writing, knowing that as partners in a law firm, a firm that has been sued multiple times, discovery would uncover these emails eventually.
