Actually, some of them just think they know it all.
Just ask 'em. They'll tell you

LMAO, Gimme3! The rest of the world has such great commercials that "we" prudes here in America would have a hissy fit about!

I will keep trying. I sent an email to the advertising department of Ford Motor Company. They do not archive their past advertisements. This saddens me because I felt like the days prior to September 2001 were some magical days. The millennium was here. There were high expectations. Ford Motor Company had some good music from the particular commercial I am talking about. I want to relive those days. Being 14 years old at the time and having started high school in 2000, I had a few really depressing days. Part of the nostalgia was remembering the good that was left before alot of things started to go crazy.

Ah, I hear ya, pirate. I'm sorry to hear someone as young as you already talking about "the good ole days". That's quite a commentary on our society and the world in general. You young people shouldn't have to deal with all the garbage that's going on in the world and be surrounded by such low standards and morals. God Bless you, hon and I sure hope you find what you are looking for and that goes for your life too.

Thanks for the encouragement. Part of the reason for this thread wasn't for much about the old Ford commercial, but a sense of what once was. I remember that specific Ford commercial because it was the day my father got a new car. It remember that it was evening. It was winter so it was getting dark kind of early. The music from that commercial gave me a good feeling. I was sitting in a room watching TV while my father was making the deal.

This is also part of the reason why I searched for a Cascade Complete commercial from around that time. The music was kind of nice:
YouTube - Cascade Complete commercial: Cake in the Dishwasher (2000?)

Oddly enough, I don't see alot of people my age mention how great things were back in the time period from 1993-1997 or 2000-2001 for that matter.

Thanks for the commercial. It kind of reminded of the mid 1990's.
