Yep, Craig Ferguson would surely be leading the poll except that most of you poor folks can't or don't stay up that late. Craig, who?

Being quite familiar with Letterman, Leno and O'Brien, I voted for Leno.

Among the later round of hosts, here's my take on them.

- Kimmel has improved a lot since that insipid Man Show. He's actually watchable now. He stands still and delivers his lines.

- Fallon seems to be reading his cue cards, at least more noticeably than any of the others. He seems to be an unsure child.

- Ferguson is witty but has a few things working against him, he talks too fast which is made even worse given his accent, and he won't stand still. As with Conan, we get seasick watching him rock back and forth or side to side.

Actually, I like Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Fallon, Dave Letterman, Conan - in that order. But I voted for Conan because I think NBC screwed up. Of course, I've thought that a lot in the last several years. They just don't get it. If MASH, Cheers, or even That 70's show were treated the way they treat shows today, NONE of them would have made it past 6 months. My guess is the inmates are running the asylum.

Leno? He looks like he wears Aqua Velva. He's just not funny, and I thought his prime time show was just sad. Good lord, the guy has more money than God. Is his ego so insecure that he has to have a TV show? He couldn't retire and let Conan have a fighting chance? That all looked so desperate to me. And was very weird. I predict he will be leaving the Tonight show again in one year. I don't think he will get all the late night followers back. Booooring.

ugh, how could you include George Lopez but not Chelsea Handler? my preferences, in order: Chelsea Handler, Conan O'Brien, and Craig Ferguson (granted, haven't watched him as much but what I have seen cracked me up). the three C's of Comedy! Kimmel gets some new founded respect from me, but have never seen his show. could care less about the others (though I hear Jimmy Fallon is improving. maybe in a few years/decade...)

I'm for none of the above listed...after all if it was not for the writers these guys might be in the unemployment lines. They are only so good as the cue cards they read.

Conan. But he needs to either go back to Late, late. Or go to FOX.
