I finally managed to procure a few seasons of Nash Bridges on DVD. The city (SF), that car (bright yellow 'cuda), the whole feel of it. Love it! It ran for a few years but not long enough for me.
Also miss Twin Peaks and Eli Stone.

I loved Joan of Arcadia, another good show off the air.

Way back in the day...Wonder Years, would've liked to see another season or so to really complete the story, they kind of rushed the finish that last season.

Since Friday Night Lights has completed filming of their last season, I will say I'm going to be sad to see it end at the end of this coming season. Best show on TV right now IMO amid all the so-called 'reality' garbage.

See a lot of people missing Freaks & Geeks - most of you probably already know, but in case you didn't, my wife has been watching reruns on IFC (559 on DirecTV).

How did Wonder Years end?

There is a segment on their wiki page dedicated to the final episode:

The Wonder Years - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It was just kind of like you had Kevin & Winnie grow-up together through middle school & high school, and since the show wasn't being renewed, they were kind of forced to rush the conclusion of their relationship. Not to mention, since the show was 20 years in the past, there was only a minute or so at the end that they told you 'the rest of the story' - like what happened w/Paul, Wayne, his parents, etc.

Just think it would've been a better ending to have maybe another season - even a half-season - to conclude the various story-lines. All things considered, they did about as good a job as they could with the two-part finale, but I guess as a fan of the show, the ending just left you wanting a little more.
