From what I can tell it is a bunch of old cooking shows like Julia Child, The Galloping Gourmet shows we can get on PBS. Then I see a bunch and I mean a bunch of Foodnetwork stars on it.

So what was the point of having a new cooking channel if it just repeats old archived cooking shows?
Cuz a lot of people haven't seen all those old cooking shows?

Have you tried freezing half your leftover portions? That way you cook once eat twice like in once a month cooking.

I could do that, I live alone and spend minimal amounts on food and do it all from scrach. Once a month I get to order a pizza and once a month eat out. Though I want to increase the savings so may drop those for now.

If you can cook from scrach and its not that hard a few veggies and a piece of meat will make a simple and easy dinner for much less than you imagine. The key is using more vegies, fresh or frozen (healthier) and less meat.

I started this after an illness which I should have been getting over but weren't. I decided that knowing what goes in your food and eliminating the mystery additves was worth a try and its proven a huge success.

Its pretty bad when even Food Network has given in so much to the "reality show" craze that they had to come out with a second channel just for cooking shows! Just like MTV with music videos...

The Cooking Channel is so boring, bring back the Fine Living Network.

I miss regular TV!!! Because.....I have the Cooking Channel on all the time. I love it. It isn't all old shows. I like a few of the newer ones that I haven't seen on Food CHannel before.

Never a huge fan of Molto Mario, but I watch it.
Can. Not. Deal. With. Ellie. Krieger. I have to "watch" it without looking at the channel. Ideas not bad, but forced fake phony smile bug me.

I like La Dolce Vita and that one guy Day Off cook that cooks for chefs in the restaurant on his "day off".

I have been watching Ask Aida, too, and Nigella.

Looks like Cooking Channel is getting a lot of the spillover from the Food Network....Giada, Emeril, Tyler Florence, etc. I am happy to see that Nigella is in regular rotation on the Cooking Channel!
