Smile Help on Culebra vacation

We have stayed in the Culebra Beach Villas several times and had a great time. We have heard they are getting a little run down. Is this true? Where might you recommend for staying while on Culebra. We like a kitchenette, cable TV, etc. Gracias.

Suggest you check on VRBO, which is Vacation Rentals by Owners, which has some of the rentals in Culebra with info. This is one of my favorite islands in the area, but when I go there I stay at a friends home.

I visited Culebra in August 2008. Stayed at a place called "Casa Ensenada." It's a B&B sort of place with one large apartment and two studio apartments. The large apartment includes a living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and one bathroom. It has a very nice view into the bay which is behind the property. In addition, there is a nice concrete deck in the back with several recliners and umbrellas. But what I liked the most was the 65 foot wooden pier. It was great to just sit on a chair at the end of the pier. Google Casa Ensenada!
