quit a job while on u/i (file, claim, work)

i worked a job for only 1 week. i was offered another job to work for my family doing odd jobs and construction. its a temp job that will be part time.

so i quit the 1st job and i told unemployment office my situation and now i have to file a new claim on the job i quit.

i dont know if i can prove that this was "just cause".
cause i quit it for a new job.
if this claim is denied can i request i get the old claim opened?

and i was thinking about getting paid for medical research. how is that $$ paid and do i claim that as income ?
and it is not a permanent job will that help me in opening a new u/i claim?

You have to prove that the new part-time job is better than the old and because of logistics you couldn't work them concurrently.
