sorry guys! but im just asking what will happen to me for employee theft? .. loss prevention accused me stealing, but i did, i told them the truth, i co operated, saying i took a like 3000$ worth of items, but they accused me of everythiing that the store was at loss..and that was like under 10000$, so i made a statement, saying i did talk some items but not all....., but the thing is i dont think that the they have proof.. like evidence on vedios or anything.. but i already made a statement because i paniced and everything.. so anybody know wht would happen to me?

Since you admitted the theft, they dont need anything but your admission. If terminated, I don't know of any state that will grant unemployment benefits for a criminal act (theft is a criminal act). Start looking for anew job NOW.
Just curious--what did you think would happen to you if (when) you got caught stealing? What was your plan? Are you under the impression that you should not be held accountable?

Actually, I did stumble across a case law story, but it could be something that will never happen again, and I don't remember the state. There was a dollar threshhold in the statute like "theft of something $25 or more." The person had made multiple thefts, but no one item alone exceeded the threshhold, so that claimant did get UI. I'm only sharing because it was an interesting one, but I would never count on being so lucky.
I would fire you as well. Also, I don't blame the company for accusing you of taking the other items in question as well.. for all we know, you probably did. You already admitted to having stole from the work place ($3,000 which is a felonious amount mind you), my fear for you wouldn't be worrying about whether you'd qualify for unemployment, but whether or not they will involve the police. Good luck finding another job with that on your resume. Hope you're trolling.
