First UI payment not full amount? (receive, claim, EDD, work)

I received my EDD debit card for California unemployment benefits today and am a bit confused after I checked the balance.

My first claim period was 2/1 - 2/7 and I understand no benefits are payable because the first week is a waiting period in California.

For 2/8 - 2/14, I was paid $337.50 on 2/17. However, my Unemployment Insurance Award letter states that my weekly benefit amount is $450. How come I was only paid $337.50 (25% less of $450) for the 2nd week?

For some reason, CA shows some earnings in its database for that week - employer may have reported late. For a specific answer, not a guess, call CA. Start dialing early a.m., keep dialing, use suggestions on last few pages of this thread:
