I applied for unemployment hear in California because we are in summer break .We are off for 2 weeks then go back for four weeks for summer school, but I be working Just 6 hours instead of my usual 8 hours.After summer school session ends we be off for 4 weeks..I filed and got denied ? Last year I didn't get denied..What is intresting is many of my coworkers didn't get Denied and are collecting .I have appeal date coming up.Why was I denied.

Start with your determination letter and type it in. Sounds like you're a school employee.

True, and if this is the case, then the issue is regarding whether you have "reasonable assurance" to return to work after the break period is over.
