Hi!

So, I am here because I don't want to make a move in this without asking. Honestly, I know the answer...but, I just want to hear it from the experts.

I received my phone interview paperwork in the mail. I will miss it because of a new job. I was talking to a friend of mine, and he said this happened to him when he lost his job last year. EDD called, he missed the call, and they left a phone number to call them back and leave a message with the answers to the questions they left on the voicemail.

I DO NOT PLAN TO CALL THE NUMBER ON THE VOICEMAIL. (If in fact this is what ends up happening in my case.) Unless I am told differently in here.

I know what you are going to say Chyvan, but as I may need assistance if this then has to be appealed, as I want my 2 weeks of benefits payments, I want to follow all your guidance!

Thank you!

You don't need to start a brand new thread every time you have something new to ask. This makes it hard to understand the history and what has already been discussed. Now I have to go back, find your prior threads, see the circumstances of your unemployment and address your concern. Not interested enough to spend the time doing that.

Fired claimants do NOT have to take the call, and shouldn't because it's pointless.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

I will carry on as planned and will let you know the decision once I hear after the missed call.
