Hi There All! I have a question that I didn't see in the more up to date area of the forum. I have a friend who is trying to do a little shady business dealing with unemployment and I worry that they will get caught. I have told my friend that I would not do this because the consequences may be high..would they? ... that is why I am coming to you. The person was fired from their position and they will be getting unemployment. However they are going to work for someone "under the table" and continue to collect. I don't understand how it is "under the table" when they are in the sales business where people will know they are selling things for their boss and they have put their new job information on social media and linked in. I think they are asking for trouble doing this, what do you think?

Yep, and usually it's because someone contacts unemployment's anonymous reporting fraud line and tips them off.
