Hi, last certification period, I was paid for one of the weeks and the second week shows “pending” with $0 amount authorized. The same thing happened this certification period. I wrote them an email through the Edd website and all I received back was “you’ll get paid if you’re qualified”. I am definitely qualified. I have $2250 left on my claim. Has anyone else (in CA) experienced this? If so, what did you do? I’ve tried to call, but continue to get the “call volume too high” message and it hangs up on me. Appreciate any advice!
I had one week pending since January 11. I was able to get through to a EDD rep Thursday Jan 21 . He had to clear something on my December certification. I was paid for that week and I certified today and was paid for the last 2 weeks.
He said it would not have been released until I called or they got to it manually.
There are a ton of threads about pending payments on other forums like reddit unemployment. This is a widespread problem.
It could be you marked no when looking for work, id verification issue, had entered some type of partial earnings, pending eligibility interview, your benefit year expired or like mine just a glitch that needed to be fixed.
I would just spend every day dialing in.
