In the absence of any substantive source for this statement, I suppose it's the same sort of Senate/House coordination that ensured that the "doc fix" -- which was spun off HR 4213 as a stand alone and passed by the Senate last week -- would still be sitting in the House waiting to be passed?
off topic, but if they do pass the extension to the end of the year, any chance that you and RJCA go out for a celebratory glass of wine?
From what I've read the Senate and House have been working on this, the senate running each change they make by the house before-hand.
