If you need a conspiracy to place blame on put it on his brain and inner ear. When flying with no visual horizon for reference the inner ear and brain conspire to make you think the aircraft is doing things (turning, climbing, descending) that it's not. Believing your body and not the instruments shortens the rest of your life to the time it will take to descend to the ground.

If he wasn’t a Kennedy he would have been convicted in the 70’s and imprisoned at that time. Because he was a Kennedy he was able to “lawyer up” and stay free until Mark Furman (a real detective) investigated it. Maybe Mark should investigate his uncle.

His "lawyering up" did not help him as much as a lack of evidence.( Anybody can lawyer up") Are you familiar with the case outside of Mark Furhman's book? There was not a whole lot of hard evidence....There was hearsay for sure.....If Skakel wasn't a Kennedy at age fifteen in 1975 anyone could have plead out and only served a relatively short amount of time. Fifteen then was considered a juvenile. No Juveniles being treated as an adult in 1975. If the evidence was a slam dunk Kennedy or not he would have done a little time and that would be it. Twenty years with a lot of water under the bridge (Oops bad phrase) well a lot of Anti Kennedy resentments grew. Here was a chance to get one of them.....Can't get Ted ( and they haven't yet and I doubt they ever will) get somebody. Skakel was easy.

This explains why Teddy keeps getting elected. Some are so caught up in the “Kennedy” mystique that they will blindly follow them into the fire.

If we believe the article, the tail of plane was blown off. Did anyone read it?
It gives reports from area. The radar shows an explosion before the plane started to descend. They want us to believe it was an accident.
Bush was seen at the airport where JFK JR'S plane was. How scary is that?

I find nothing in the article that says "The radar shows an explosion before the plane started to descend. ", it says eyewitnesses reported seeing an explosion, that's two distinctly different things, radar has a taped record, evewitnesses are notoriously unreliable. The article states the cockpit recorder was disabled, it would be more acurate to state that the type of plane does not normally have a cockpit recorder and there's no evidence this one did. Do some independent research on weather conditions at the time, they were probably beyond the capability of an inexperienced pilot which he was. I'm surprised the article doesn't go on to say that witnesses reported a Martian mother ship aiming its death ray in the area at the time because the rest of it sounds like a load of hooey.

I made a mistake, it was a satellite image, not radar.
Satellite images supplied by the National Reconnaissance Office record an outbursting flash from the aircraft just prior to it going into perpendicular descent.

Hey, it's America, you can believe whatever you like, facts are optional, just look at the White House.

But........................an outbursting flash? That means exactly what? Do we have any statement saying a strobe light reflecting off a cloud wouldn't produce an "outbursting flash"? And 6000 FPM is only a ittle over 60MPH, doesn't sound like a perpendicular descent to me.

Read the NTSB report, everything in it is consistent with the conclusion of Spatial Disorientation. There was haze/mist in the area, another pilot reported that while the visibilty above 14,000ft was unrestricted when he was at a lower altitude and his instruments told him he was over Martha's Vineyard he was unable to see any lights on the island due to local conditions.

JFK Jr had only logged 310 hours. Flying instruments with an instructor in the airplane at that experience level can be fun, doing it at night, on your own with a case of "Get There Fever" is an entirely different situation. He was far from the first and will certainly not be the last pilot to fly into a situation beyond his capabilities and pay the price.

Kennedy lived like all the family lived- with vigor and gusto

they took risks and suffered. JFK Jr, was too inexperienced a pilot to be flying under the conditions he was in.

He took a big risk and overestimated his abilities as a pilot.

Yes I find some kook on geocitie a great place to get facts. Did you even look at the nutball's website, it would seem the the US is behind everything bad in the world including Hitlers rise to power, OK city bombs, 9/11 and the list goes on and on. Man it's not hard to grasp people putting this crap up online, but what is hard to grasp is people believe it true. JFK and JFK Jr killed by a plot .... right then why is Teddy still around? Riddle me that.
