Do you believe in The Illuminati? or some other elite group (government, strange)

And the right doesn't? Please stand up straight, this leaning is driving me crazy.
And you don't lean! HA
Think Rosie and Mike Moore. . The sky is falling. . . the gov't knocked down the twin towers. .. . No, to answer your question. . . the right doesn't usually engag in such silly drivel.

You're wrong. I don't lean. I have my opinions. Unless another person starts throwing in labels, assumptions, and stereotypes about 'left' and 'right', you'll notice I never say which side I'm on because I don't play that simplistic game. I stand far to the right on several issues (immigration for one, I'm for mass deportation and confiscation of property). And I don't believe anything I'm told about 9/11, which doesn't by definition place me on the left, just on the side of those who have doubts (the marjority, by the way). You're knife of ideological division doesn't cut too cleanly. Most people stand on both sides of the divide simultaneously as I'm sure you must do on occasion. Read the author I suggested above and tell me you don't have doubts.

mhouse2001 it is interesting that you can see other's "leanings" but not your own? I have read your posts and yes, I labeled you (if you will) as -left-leaning just as you labeled me right-leaning. I accept the label. Some it seems see it a criticism to be left or right and that somehow if someone avoids the labels then they are "fair" and others on either side are biased. I don't see it that way at all.

I understand. I don't like being forced to pick a side like left or right because then that breeds all kinds of assumptions. True, I frequently resist the right's viewpoint because I see it as ignorant. Sorry, but people should know better. My point is that not every person who doubts 9/11 is a 'leftie'. Not every person who believes in conspiracies is a leftie. It is not a left/right issue. The conservatives had all kinds of conspiracies about Clinton. Now that I know more about these things, I am in accordance. Things like Vince Foster's suicide are rather dubious.

I was using the conspiracy theory as an example. Not the only litmus test.
And I believe that many of the views of those on the left are ignorant, and they should know better (but don't know better because they are ignorant). And by ignorant I mean ill-informed, not aware, deceived even.
to know that 30 families virtuallly control mexico and assume that no such power block operates in this country would be very naive. perhaps other than our wealth and enthusiasm, if the french were going ot fault us for something, it would be for our consistent failure to connect the dots--- global warming, genetically altered food sources, world power blocks, politics in the mideast, global union/labor busting, and so forth.
