Maybe 10 years ago on April Fool's day( great time) at about 10:20 PM I had the dog out in the backyard. I like to stargaze and spot aircraft as well as just watch the skies. I looked up to the northwest and thought for a split second I saw a shooting star. Except it had no tail and I could make out two white lights, one bigger one in front and one smaller one right behind it. Moving faster than a jet but not as fast as a shooting star. It was at a high altitude and seemed to be climbing and getting faster and then just winked out. All this in less than two seconds but I did see it. The twin lights pretty much ruled out any meteor. And aircraft blink even at a great distance, these didn't.
I don't get excited by seeing strange lights, especially if they're stationary. I've seen chinese lanterns just hanging high up, I've seen drones with colored lights moving around. Satellites high up not blinking going usually south to north. But this had speed to it. It could be a man made UFO or alien. I don't know. But it had technology apparently that we're not supposed to know about.
