Best things about living in London
London takes a big advantage of being the most multi-cultural city in the world. Thanks to this you can try a different kind of food from all over the world, join lots of festivals (such as Thai festival, Notting Hill Festival) or celebrations (such as Chinese New Year, Canada Day). I won't be bored in this city at all!
The worst things about living in London
I would not survive my 3rd winter in the UK. It was always extremely cold. People kept asking me, why I was always freezing, especially being a Nordic. Well, you cannot compare -35C in Sweden and -5C in London. It's a different cold, because of different climates! I'd prefer Swedish winter as cold is not entering your body reaching your bones.
I guess queuing is now more like a tradition. People are queuing everywhere! No matter where you go - a restaurant, a pub, a supermarket, a bank (duh), an ATM - you will be definitely queuing there!
Kyla, you're right - the London cold seems uniquely damp and penetrating...
And we do love to queue - I can guarantee that every Brit in front of you and behind you in that line knows the position of every person waiting: woe betide anyone who tries to cut in
