Keep on with the Wiki quoting, doesn't mean anything to me. Where did I say the population increase was due only to EU immigration? You think I'm stupid? I saw it with my own eyes. Massive immigration from India, Pakistan, the Caribbean, Africa, Bangladesh, especially. Don't talk down to me - I saw it in real time, not reading about it on a computer.
We even got over 27,000 in the early 70s, thrown out by Idi Amin in Uganda. Many of those did real well in Britain, and became rich in time.
The immigrants, especially from Pakistan, then set about breeding large families. I don't need you sending me quotes from Wiki, I saw it man!!
The icing on the cake was EU immigration. The straw that broke the camels back.

We are now drifting away from the subject of the thread, and I'm starting to get annoyed. Not good for me at this time.
