I'm curious to know if he was given hydroxychloroquine
Interesting question. Supposedly it works and they do talk about "treatment." So maybe that's the treatment, maybe not. It seems to be used at only certain hospitals in the US and I wonder if they're using it in England.

That drug is very controversial. People take it for lupus and now they're having trouble getting it for legitimate purposes. I trust that you've heard that you-know-who is pushing it because he owns stock in the French company that manufactures it.
^^^ Just to clarify:
He has a distant financial link to a pharma giant that makes the drug he's been pushing to fight COVID-19 — but it's probably worth less than $100
So, his push is almost certainly about politics, not profits.

His push could also be because he thinks it might save lives...
Well FDA approved it. Other countries aren't so eager. They are limiting their COVID-19 use to clinical trials only.
FDA historically approved stuff that is proven harmful and banned elsewhere.

I think if I was dying from Covid-19 I'd take my chances.
Actually, more than two-thirds of severely ill COVID-19 patients saw their condition improve after treatment with remdesivir, an experimental drug being developed by Gilead Sciences Inc., according to new data based on patient observation. https://in.reuters.com/article/healt...-idINKCN21T05L
