Neither of those. You are both correct in that it is African. It is not Stone Town in Zanzibar but apparently the city centre of this city was based on Stone Town.

This city is far smaller than Dar Es Salaam but is the biggest in its region.

To make it easier, it is south-east of Dar Es Salaam.
