For what it's worth, it's farther south; Amarillo is the northernmost city in Texas.

Not Lubbock, aka "Hub City". You'll have to walk a fortnight to get to this cow town. From Lubbock, it'll be worth it.

They sell T-shirts at a really good Texas-style BBQ place in this city that read "_______; because life is too short to live in Dallas".

Note some clues... "fortnight", "worth it", "cowtown". Was there (Fort Worth) last weekend, and it's not the sleepy smaller neighbor of Dallas it used to be, although it's still called Cowtown.

The pic is from StreetView on the 28th Street railroad bridge, about a half mile east of Billy Bob's looking southeast.

Not sure why it took me so long to get that.

I'll blame it on my advanced years.

Now I've got to find a good one.
