Default Job Market

My husband and I want out of CT. I have family in the West Jordan area and they would love for us to come to that part of the US. My question is what is the job market like.

We had been origionaly thinking of going to the TN but from what I've been reading the job market is on rather low. My husband might be able to transfer but I would have to start from scratch.

Also I know my dad likes West Jordan but what is it like? He would tell me anything to get me to move there. It just seems so far away from here. We don't dislike CT is't just getting too expensive to live here and unless you are way up in a company it seems like the pay doesn't = the cost of living.

Thanks for any info. One more thing...what is the house market like. We would want a 3+ bedroom, 2 bath, at least 1600sq. Good area as we have a 7 year old.

You should probably tell us what kind of work you and your husband are looking for.

Utah, at least of October, had the lowest unemployment (2.5 percent) of any state in the nation. Probably dependent on you kind of work as to what you'll find. There's not too many large corporate jobs and they pay is lower than the national average.

Plenty of both of those types of jobs I think. Also in response to your question about housing -- I think your requirements would be between $200-$250 k in West Jordan.
