I'm in my early 20s and accepted a job in Portland which starts in January, but I'll be living in Vancouver. With that in mind, I'll be doing the majority of my basic shopping/non-work related things in Vancouver, including going to church on Sundays.

About me: I currently live on the east side of the state and head to the Vancouver-Portland area a couple times a year to visit close relatives during the summer and/or holidays. So I'm familiar with the area, but not so much with the church "scene." Is there a church anyone can recommend that has a good number of young adults in the congregation? Preferably churches that hold regular social gatherings/fellowship events and that sort of thing aside from Sundays. I'm a low-key guy when it comes to social interaction, and bars/dance clubs aren't really my cup of tea, save for very occasionally.

I identify with the church of the Nazarene, but will definitely take other denominations into consideration for the time. I'll be living in Hazel Dell specifically, but certainly don't mind driving a little bit.

Thanks in advance!

Check out New Heights church. I don't know anything really about it but our babysitter (who is in her 20s) is very involved there with a big group of young adults. They have a few locations but the big one I believe is close to you.
