Hurray for Oxnard making a positive list. The truth is that the Oxnard area including Port Hueneme, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks and Ventura made the list. They name the Largest city in the area but in reality the entire area can take credit for this.

Best college towns in America? How about Oxnard. » Ventura County Star

I don't really get it... the cost of living for a college student is high. I went to Oxnard and Moorpark Colleges, I lived at CSUCI, I grew up next door to CLU. Not exactly uber ideal for college students unless they lived off mommy and daddy at home and commuted to school.

Anyways, congrats to the Nard.

My best times partying at a college were at Cal Poly with friends who went there. CLU was a close second only because it was a dry campus and the element of getting caught made it more fun. And I could walk home.
