Hey y'all,
As we are getting closer to our moving date (June), I have some more technical questions.
I read somewhere that it was hard to get a good phone and internet service in VT? Is there some really bad areas out there, does it change with the weather etc, or is it just a myth?

I'm asking because I'm hopefully landing this really good job that requires a phone and internet to be executed... And we're still looking for where we're going to stay (mainly looking around Burlington, like Winooski, Jericho, Colchester, St-Albans, are those towns too far from the city to get good reception?)

Thank you so much!

The more rural areas are worse, naturally. If you have AT&T you will find that if you go on some dirt road in a rural areas and you're between trees and mountains you will have no reception. Hell there is even a section on the freeway right around the richmond exit with some very bad reception. However Verizon seems to do much better.

Have not had cable issues with Comcast. Out of the places you are talking about I'd consider Jericho to be the most rural. St Albans may or may not be a little too far from Burlington for you. Colchester or Milton would work better I think.

We have not had any issues with Comcast (and we were expecting to, just from stuff we read online). The service has been great, reliable and the two times I had technicians out (both boxes I received had issues) they were on time and very helpful.
