Does anyone know of any alternatives to CV Oil for home heating oil in the Killington area?

TIA

Default CV..good service

I have been getting very good service from CV Oil, I would just like to get some competitive pricing from a decent provider in the area. No way to know if I am being over charged. My heating oil is always more expensive than premium gasoline at the pump.

I can't comment on the oil providers in the Killington area, but up here in Chittenden county the prices are very high. You can find some providers who offer a discount, but from what I have heard their service can be poor. Quite a few of us got stung pretty good by doing a pre-buy last summer. I locked in 700 gallons at 2.75 p/gal and last week when a delivery came I found out if I was a COD customer I would have paid 2.52 p/gal. There just is not enough competition up here so don't expect oil to go down to rates that some in other states are paying.
